Practical construction and restoration advice

Consulting scope

NY Building Consultant provides construction and restoration consulting based on practical industry experience. Services do not include architectural or professional engineering services, code-required inspections, engineering design, or professional certifications. When required, those services must be provided separately by an appropriately licensed professional.

Information reviewed

Advice depends on the information supplied and the scope agreed for the engagement. Photographs, descriptions and documents may not reveal concealed conditions or establish the cause or severity of a building problem. Further site investigation or a licensed professional’s evaluation may be necessary.

Engagements and pricing

Submitting an inquiry does not create a consulting engagement, begin a subscription or authorize a payment. The scope, fee and relevant terms are confirmed separately before work begins. One-time services cover the defined issue or project review and reasonable related follow-up; additional issues or an expanded scope are agreed separately.

Project decisions

Consulting feedback assists with understanding repair options, proposals and questions for the project team. It is not a guarantee of a particular repair outcome, cost saving, code compliance or hidden condition. Required design, permitting, inspection and construction responsibilities remain with the appropriate project participants.

Project experience and references

Projects and company names on this website describe Pawel Gluszczyszyn’s career experience and project collaboration. They do not imply endorsement, a current partnership, or that every project was a separate NY Building Consultant commission.

Urgent conditions

This email service is not an emergency response or safety-certification service. For an immediate danger, contact emergency services and the appropriate building professionals.
